The existing Internet infrastructure
is the starting point of the virtual intelligent network

The peer-to-peer servicing intelligent networks
The direct connection between the users' machines
through the Internet infrastructure makes it possible the opening
of a new exchange space decentralized and independent of the Web
servers.
The development direction of intelligent networks is based upon
the collaborative principle of users and upon data decentralization.
RU3 proposes using the peer-to-peer principle through original
usage of the network system Gnutella (1). It is not any
longer the disc space of the machines connected that is shared,
but a part of their random-access memory. Completing this usage
with the RAID-like system (2) approach, we have shown that
pieces of information, redundantly
distributed in the random-access of several machines, keep their
integrity in spite of the disconnection of some of the machines.
When redundancy is sufficient, the pieces of information reconstitute
themselves, and are distributed again, as soon as new connections
are established.
1. Gnutella
is the protocol of open source GNU
used by the majority of peer-to-peer networks (Freenet,
Limewire, etc.)
2. RAID-like system: adaptation of RAID disc administrator
technology applied to networks. Project open source Parchive
project (Unix environment)
